Builder Bio — About Us

Michael Sloan, a principal in both Omega Custom Homes and S Squared Development, is a fourth generation builder who has been building fine homes for over 22 years. His experience includes custom homes, condominiums, and commercial real estate.

Omega Custom Homes built award winning homes at the former Clark County Home Builders Association's Parade of Homes in 1994, 1996, 1998, 1999, and 2000. Omega Custom Homes, in partnership with S Squared Development, built the home called Hayden’s Manor for the 2006 Parade of Homes now produced by the Building Industry Association. Hayden’s Manor won five awards including ‘Best of Show’.

The award winning Parade House built in 1999 by Omega Custom Homes was called Hannah’s Manor, named for builder Michael Sloan’s daughter. He knew he also had to build a show home named for his son to keep his household happy and even, thus the decision to build Hayden’s Manor in the 2006 Parade of Homes. In keeping with his personal tradition, the 2007 Parade Home built by Omega and S Squared is called LaVonne’s Manor after Michael Sloan’s mother.

Omega and S Squared specialize in high-end custom homes in Clark County and surrounding areas, but also build homes in many price ranges.

Michael moved to the Vancouver area in 1986 and settled in La Center. He is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys hunting and fishing. Michael also enjoys gardening, bowling, and spending time with his family and their sizable pet menagerie.

Michael Sloan, Owner of Omega Custom Homes

“Since I was a small boy, I’ve admired the substance and character of quality built homes in the Midwest. Building custom homes in a variety of styles in the Northwest has given me the ability to adapt, replicate and showcase many of these fine qualities in homes that are both contemporary and traditional in nature.”
